Pharmacological properties

The drug of natural origin, derived from flowers and leaves of Lagochilus inebrians Bunge. The drug prevents bleeding, increases adhesion, aggregation and number of thrombocytes, shortens actions of heparin. The drug significantly improves such indices, as Lee-White clotting time, thrombin time, prothrombin index, fibrinogen, reduces amount of blood loss. Hemostatic effect of the drug is associated with activation of 1 and 2 phases of blood coagulation, accelerating formation of active thromboplastin and conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, acceleration of formation of solid clot of thrombus

 

Indications for use

The drug is prescribed for treatment and prevention of acute and chronic bleeding (gastrointestinal, hemorrhoidal, bronchial, uterine, etc.), parenchymatous hemorrhage (renal, splenic, brain), capillary and other bleeding in surgical interventions in ENT (ear, nose, throat) practice (in tonsillectomy, microsurgical operations on ear, etc.), in dentistry during removing teeth, cysts, granulomas, during operation of gastrointestinal tract, gynecological operations of the uterus, including bleeding associated with disorder of blood coagulation system.
