Pharmacological properties

Ampicillin is broad-spectrum antibiotic out of group of semisynthetic penicillin. Bactericidal action down-regulates fusion of cytoderm of microorganisms. Destroys under action of penicillinase.
The following microorganisms are constantly sensitive to preparation: Streptococci A, B, C, F, G, Str.pneumoniae, anaerogenic penicillinases; L.monocytogernes, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Erysipelotrix rhusopathiae, Eikenella, N.Meningitides, Bordetella pertussis, Clostridium spp., Propioniobacterium acnes, Peptostreptococcus spp., Actinomyces spp., Leptospira spp., Treponema; are not constantly sensitive: Enterococcus faecalis, E.Coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp., Vibrrio cholerae, H.Influenzae, N.gonorrhoeae, Fusobacterium spp., Prevotella.
The following microorganisms are sensitive to preparation: Staphylococcus spp., B.catarrhalis, Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., C.diversus, C.freundii, Proteus vulgaris, Providencia rettgeri, Morganella moranii, Y.enterocolitica, Pseudomonas spp., Acinetbacter spp., Xanthomonas spp., Flavobacterium spp., Alcaligenes spp., Nocardia spp., Campylobacter spp., Legionella pneumophila, Mycobacterium spp., Bacteriodes spp., Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp.

 

Indications for use

Bacillosis: bronchitis, pneumonia, dysentery, salmonellosis, long circulator of salmonella, cholecystitis, pertussis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, endocarditis, infection of skin and soft parts, gynaecological infections, infections of EENT, odontogenic infections, meningitis, septicemia and other infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to preparation.

 

Pharmaceutical form

Powder for preparation of an injection solution in flasks by 0,5 g and 1,0 g or in a set with solvent (“novocaine an injection solution by 0,5 %” or “water for injections” in ampoules by 0,5 ml.
