Pharmacological properties

The drug, in parenteral introduction, has a sedative action on central nervous system (depending on dose – sedative, hypnotic or narcotic), it inhibits neuromuscular transmission (up to curariform effect), lowers blood pressure, and increases urine output.

 

Indications for use

Convulsive disorder in eclampsia and severe preeclampsia, uterine tetanus, urinary retention, lead colic, hypomagnesemia, including those patients, receiving only parenteral nutrition, hypertensive crisis, status epilepticus, poisoning by mercury, arsenic, tetraethyl lead (in complex therapy).

25 % solution for injection in ampoules of 5 ml and 10 ml.
