Pharmacological properties

Riboxin belongs to group of anabolic drugs that stimulate the metabolic processes. Derivative (nucleoside) of purine, a precursor of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

                          

Indications for use

Combined treatment of myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmia, resulting from taking cardiac glycosides, myocardiodystrophy after infectious diseases. It is also recommended in cases of liver diseases (hepatitides, cirrhosis, hepatic steatosis), treatment of porphyria cutanea tarda. In addition, riboxin is used in surgeries on isolated kidney as agent of pharmacological protection, when blood flow of operated organ is temporarily off.
